INDO-NEPALESE MENU

What better way to welcome July than with the launch of our Indo - Nepalese Food Festival. In a month long celebration of Nepal’s diverse culinary offerings and its unique relationship with India we are very excited to present you with our Indo –Nepalese menu created especially by our Nepalese chefs.   Located between India and China, Nepal is home to the majestic Himalayas and Mount Everest. Its cuisine is most certainly as diverse as the country itself, with a unique crossover of cultures and influences as a result of its location. Like Indian food, Nepalese food is full of spice and flavour and our chefs have designed a menu that not only celebrates, but respects the countries distinct use of flavours and cooking style.  Indo-Nepalese Festival Menu £50 per person To maximise your dining experience, this menu must be ordered by each diner at your table Appetiser Hans choila Chilled salad of Barbary duck breast with toasted rice flakes   Starter Kukhura momos Steamed black leg chicken dumplings with sesame and peanut chutney   Rest Course Maacha fry Crisp batter fried grey mullet with garlic and chilli, cucumber relish   Main course Khasi sekwa Grilled Herdwick lamb with Nepalese spices, curried bamboo shoots, potato raita and steamed rice   Dessert Gajar ko hulwa & Chawal ko kheer Traditional carrot fudge with rice pudding
