NEW AGE INDIAN DESSERT

The Cinnamon Club is saving the best for last with a brand new dessert-and-wine pairing menu: the 'New Age Indian Desserts' menu is a cool collaboration between pastry chef Morsingh Jakhi and aspiring sommelier Pierre Mairesse. The result is nothing short of spectacular, and once again proves that Cinnamon is a key proponent of revolutionising the associations of spice and wine.

Those with sweet teeth can expect decadent delights such as bitter chocolate and hazelnut crumble paired perfectly with a Riesling, Auslese, Francz Dhamn, Grahen, Bernkatesler, Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, Germany, 2006; a tasting of melon soup, parfait and carpaccio matched to a Recioto di Soave, Le Colombare, Leonildo Pieropan Veneto, Italy, 2007; and a selection of Mughal-inspired sorbets accompanied by Saussignac, Vendanges, D'Autrefois, Les Vignerons de Souglés, Dordogne, France, 2009.
