The 2012 London Restaurant Festival is almost upon us and this year’s event is already promising to outdo the last. With a marvellous host of events, menus and some very exciting names involved, we are absolutely delighted to be partaking in what’s looking like the foodie event of the year!
New to the festival programming comes in the shape of Kitchen Influentials, hosted by sponsors American Express. Kicking off on October 7th 2012, the event will see ten chefs across London accompanied by their protégés, friends or soulmates, back together, cooking a unique Sunday lunch. The one off event and pairings explore the fascinating role influence plays in a chef’s career and development.
Executive chef Vivek Singh will be partnering up with The Cinnamon Club’s founding menu consultant, Michelin starred chef, Eric Chavot. In a friendship that has spanned eleven years, Vivek and Eric have worked together to create dishes, menus and concepts that not only have set apart The Cinnamon Club from the rest, but also fundamentally changed the perception of Indian food in London today.
